Description
Castrol Iloform™ TRS 40 is a synthetic water soluble coolant.

Application
Iloform TRS 40 is designed especially for welded tube rolling operations on most ferrous metals, including high carbon and all cold rolled and hot rolled gauges.. Not suitable for use on copper and copper alloys.

Advantages
• Excellent separation of tramp oil – tramp oil does not emulsify and cause reduced mill drive and slippage. Tramp oil is easily skimmed off, providing longer emulsion life and economical usage. Iloform TRS40 provides excellent drive characteristics leading to lower scrap rates. Longer emulsion life.
• High resistance to bacterial attack – long emulsion life, less maintenance and therefore more economical.
• Low foaming characteristics – agitation by circulation pumps will not cause foaming. Trouble free operation.
• Excellent settling characteristics – promotes removal of dirt and fines, providing cleaner system and mills, as well as longer coolant life.
• Low drag out – tubes drain easily and dry quickly, providing a cleaner working environment, as well as cleaner tubes. Better working conditions for operators.
• No silicones – no interference with subsequent painting or varnishing. Tubes can be painted with confidence.
• No hazardous components – pleasant odour, safe to work with and highly acceptable to operators.
• Leaves a soft residue – gives inter-operational protection. Rust free tubes.
