It is designed to withstand high-temperature conditions and to provide maximum safety.<\/p>\n<p>Duckhams Brake &amp; Clutch fluid DOT 4 contains high boiling point synthetic base<br \/>\nfluids blended with oxidation and corrosion inhibitors to resist oxidation at the high<br \/>\ntemperatures encountered in the disc braking systems and to provide superior<br \/>\nprotection against corrosion of metallic components of the brake system.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>FEATURES AND BENEFITS<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High boiling point reduces the impact of moisture absorption while in service and prevents<br \/>\nvapour locking of brakes and maintains reliable braking performance.<\/li>\n<li>Superior oxidative stability and pH retention ensure that the fluid will operate effectively at the high temperatures encountered in disk braking systems throughout the manufacturer\u2019s recommended brake fluid service life.<\/li>\n<li>Superior high-temperature stability and low-temperature fluidity provides lubricity and ensures trouble-free operation.<\/li>\n<li>Effective corrosion inhibitors provide long term corrosion protection to the metallic<br \/>\ncomponents of the brake systems.<\/li>\n<li>Compatible with all seals and metals used in conventional braking systems requiring poly glycol brake fluids<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>SPECIFICATIONS AND APPROVALS<\/p>\n<p>Meets or exceeds the required performance level for; FMVSS 116 DOT 4, ISO 4925 Class 4, SAE J1704<\/p>\n<p>Brake fluids can be corrosive to paintwork, avoid spills. If a spillage occurs, rinse the product from bodywork with water as soon as possible, do not wipe or rub the spill.<\/p>\n<p>Not suitable for use in systems designed for mineral-based products (LHM).
